Kula Coral Display – It’s Free with Park Entry!
Look for the Land & Sea building (it’s air conditioned!) and you’ll find the largest coral display in Fiji. With four display tanks holding over 12,000 liters of salt water, you’ll see small and large polyp corals, soft corals, anemones, tropical fish and more. The reef in each display tank is created with eco friendly man-made artificial reef rock. It’s manufactured right here in Fiji and exported all over the world.
Depending on the time of your visit, you may get to watch our Marine Life Support Technicians hand feeding individual corals or filter feeding entire coral colonies. Corals are not plants, and although some are photosynthetic, many need to be fed solid food on a daily basis just like any other animal.
Don’t miss this display. It’s the only way to see the underwater world of Fiji’s coral reefs without the need to get wet!
